Where do Binance and Kraken differ?

Across the 11 markets in this catalogue, Binance publishes a local service subject to requirements in 3 of them and Kraken in 6. Both publish one in 1 markets, and neither is confirmed in 3.

This page lists differences and gives no overall ranking. A published rate does not prove a product is available where you live, unknown fees are never treated as zero, and commission plays no part in any ordering.

Funding, withdrawal and account requirements

Binance

Funding
Binance charges no platform crypto-deposit fee; the sending exchange or wallet may charge. Bank, card and other fiat routes have separate pricing. Select the payment currency and method, then review charges and the amount received.
Withdrawal
On-chain withdrawal charges adjust dynamically. Use the official withdrawal page to check the fee for this asset and network. Free crypto deposits do not make withdrawals from Binance free.
Verification
Open the verification checklist for your actual residence on the official account page and confirm the entity and product. Check the local account page for accepted ID, proof of address and processing times. Existing users should also check their verification status and whether a referral code is already linked.
Eligibility
Australian and New Zealand documentation describes spot services, subject to local terms. Binance affiliate guidance restricts marketing to the EU/EEA, UK, US, Singapore and Hong Kong. Consult local product terms rather than treat a referral as proof of eligibility.

Kraken

Funding
Verified Australian accounts can deposit AUD by Osko/PayID from a same-name Australian bank. The published minimum is AUD 5 with no platform deposit fee. AUD card or Apple/Google Pay processing is 3.75% + AUD 0.25; recheck the route before paying.
Withdrawal
Find the asset and network in Cryptocurrency withdrawal fees and minimums, then check current charges and minimums on the confirmation page. Kraken Pro trading fees, instant-purchase spreads and withdrawals are separate charges to include in your comparison.
Verification
Applicants must be at least 18 and live in a supported area. Prepare valid ID and address information, and provide a face photo if requested. Proof of address should generally be under three months old and show your name and address; see Document requirements for accepted types.
Eligibility
Local spot documentation covers Australia, Canada, the UK, Germany, France and approved US states. New York and Maine residents are excluded. Region, asset and product restrictions are separate; review the selected regional conditions.
Contracting entity
The contracting Payward / Bit Trade entity depends on residence and product; see the local service terms.
