Understanding Binance starts with separating order-book Spot trading, Convert quotes and funding. Each has different pricing and conditions. This guide explains BNB fee payment, order execution and regional account requirements so you can compare more than the headline rate.
Binance Spot matches orders through an order book, allowing you to inspect prices and choose execution conditions. Convert presents a quote to accept before its timer expires, without managing the book. The trade-off is simplicity versus execution control; a simpler interface or a zero-fee label does not establish the cheaper route.
A limit order lets you set a purchase price. Post Only is designed to place the order on the book first: Binance cancels it if it would immediately match an existing order. That gives control over execution type, but cannot guarantee both maker treatment and an immediate purchase.
Check the account, product and region for each table. Rates can differ between them. These estimates cover trading fees only. Funding, withdrawal, FX and spread are separate; unknown amounts are not treated as zero.
Regular-user spot · standard rates
Regular-user rates from the public FAQ and historical maker/taker notice, before VIP, BNB discounts or pair promotions. Check your pair and actual rate on the account fee page before ordering.
Separate BNB discounts, trade fees and withdrawals
The public Spot schedule separates standard rates, BNB payment and certain pair-specific rates. For illustration, a 1,000 USDT fill at an applicable 0.10% costs 1 USDT equivalent; an eligible 25% discount reduces that to 0.75 USDT equivalent. This excludes acquiring BNB, price changes, taxes and withdrawals, and is not an account quote for every region.

Amounts show the fee equivalent; discounted fees are paid in BNB. Account, pair, settings and balance conditions apply. BNB acquisition costs, price changes, taxes and withdrawals are excluded.
Receiving crypto and sending it out are separate steps. Binance's fee FAQ says crypto deposits have no Binance deposit charge, while withdrawal charges adjust with network conditions. Compare the sender's charge, trading commission and withdrawal charge separately. For small transfers, the amount reaching the destination can matter more than a small difference in trading rates.
How should I fund my account?Check available channels, currencies and account fees.
Binance charges no platform crypto-deposit fee; the sending exchange or wallet may charge. Bank, card and other fiat routes have separate pricing. Select the payment currency and method, then review charges and the amount received.
What should I check before withdrawing?Confirm the network, address and fee before sending.
On-chain withdrawal charges adjust dynamically. Use the official withdrawal page to check the fee for this asset and network. Free crypto deposits do not make withdrawals from Binance free.
How verification, region and payment access connect
Binance's personal verification flow asks separately for residence, document-issuing country or region, and document type, followed by document submission and a liveness check. These fields are distinct. Some regions or payment channels require additional verification, so completing the initial process does not activate every funding method.
Local service scope can differ. Binance's UK page warns that some services are unavailable to UK retail clients and lists a client questionnaire in its onboarding flow. Review your account's contracting terms, customer category and available payment routes. An international product page, Chinese language setting or accessible website is not proof of individual eligibility.
If you already hold USDT and intend to withdraw your purchase, compare the pair, applicable order commission and withdrawal network. Starting with a bank card adds payment and currency-conversion variables. Our suggested method is to specify the starting asset, purchase and destination before comparing platforms, rather than comparing Binance Spot fees with another platform's quick-buy quote.
Frequent traders can examine account tiers, individual pairs and BNB eligibility; occasional buyers can weigh the number of steps alongside the amount received. Binance's technical documentation distinguishes standard, tax and special commissions, with discount eligibility at both account and pair level. A single minimum rate therefore cannot represent every user's actual charge.
Does holding BNB automatically give me the discounted fee?
Check whether payment is enabled for your account and pair, and whether the balance is sufficient. Binance says insufficient BNB leads to the undiscounted charge being taken from the received asset. Standard-commission discounts do not apply to tax or special commissions.
The role depends on execution. A limit order that immediately matches existing orders takes liquidity; a portion resting on the book and filled later provides it. Specifying a limit price does not automatically make every fill a maker trade.
What happens when a Binance Convert quote expires?
Request a new quote and review the amount again. Binance's process requires confirmation within the countdown; an expired quote is not a guaranteed price for a later trade. Compare Convert and Spot using executable prices for the same size at the same time.
Why does sending crypto to Binance cost money if deposits are free?
The no-deposit-fee statement covers Binance's receiving side. The sending exchange or wallet may still charge for withdrawal or the blockchain transaction. Compare the amount debited at the source with the expected Binance credit to understand that step's cost.
Compare what each published rate covers, what every market records and which account requirements apply. These pages list differences and give no ranking.
